Services

We know how difficult it can be, how painful and frightening and isolating, to be living with pemphigus and pemphigoid. Many of us involved with the IPPF are ourselves struggling with these diseases, or are caregivers and family members of those who are. We are committed to providing the widest possible selection of services and tools to support, assist and allow you to live your life to the fullest. Here you'll find an overview of our services, with links to additional information on our site about each. If there's other help you need, or simply additional information, please contact us and we'll be happy to do what we can.
  • Patient Support  ( 4 items )
    The IPPF offers many ways to help patients. Our popular Email Discuccsion Group is just one way to reach out to other patients or help someone else. Local Support Groups, Heart2Heart, and Checklists are also available giving patients, caregivers, and family members avenues for support and information.
  • Referral Services  ( 1 items )
    One of our most important services is connecting patients with the physicians around the country who are knowledgeable about these rare diseases and the most current treatments.
  • Clinical Research and Clinical Trial Information  ( 3 items )
    Several companies are currently conducting studies of new treatments for pemphigus. One of these companies, Peptimmune, Inc., has prepared a comprehensive overview of the standard clinical trial process located in our FAQs that may help you answer the question: "Is Clinical Trial Participation Right for You?"
