Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Division of Immunotherapy is utilizing methods that allow the safe isolation, manipulation and preservation of population of stem cells and immune cells for therapeutic purposes. Currently DIAD collaborates with the Divisions of Rheumatology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology and Hematology/Oncology, and the Departments of Neurology and Transplant Surgery in innovation approaches and active protocols for the treatment of severe lupus, amyloidosis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and post transplant Lymphoproliferative disorders and cancers.

2007 Annual Meeting

(Excerpt from the Quarterly, Issue 50, Fall 2007) This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our Annual Patient/Doctor meetings in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By holding this year’s meeting in Canada, we were looking to give our partners outside the U.S. an opportunity to experience the expertise and camaraderie that our meetings offer.
