In Southern California, the pemphigus and pemphigoid community head to IPPF BOD member Sonia Tramel’s house for more than just good burgers potato salad — they go to hear local experts and interact with other patients and caregivers.
This year over 30 people came to hear Dr. Sergei Grando (IPPF MAB member) from the University of California-Irvine offer his advice on living with P/P and answer questions on diagnosis, medicamentos, and treatments. Also on hand were key members of the IPPF leadership: Dr. David Sirois (IPPF BOD President), Lee Heins (IPPF BOD), Greg Wright (IPPF BOD), Molly Stuart (IPPF CEO), and Janet Segall (IPPF Founder).
