The 2010 IPPF Annual Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. There will be a Special Newcomers Reception sponsored by AxelaCare (who just so happen to have an office conveniently located a few miles from downtown Philadelphia!) at the hotel on Friday Night starting at 6pm. Old friends are encouraged to join us at 7 pm for laughter and libations. Mingle with the IPPF staff, doctors, and other patients and caregivers from around the world.
On Saturday morning, Dr. Grant Anhalt will open with "Introduction to Pemphigus & Pemphigoid" starting at 8 am. This is the perfect introduction for newly diagnosed patients and their caregivers. The meeting will last all day Saturday with snacks and beverages provided during breaks. This year, our Awards Luncheon is included in the price of your registration fee and will feature a keynote by Jay Matthews (University of the Sciences, Piladelphia). Jay will talk about how patients and patient organizations can advance orphan drug development. We will also announce the winners of our Community Project Grants.
Saturday immediately after the meeting ends for the day, we will host a Social Mixer. Join speakers, staff, board members, and fellow attendees to recap the day's events! Enjoy some refreshments and appetizers before taking in the local Philadelphia attractions and restaurants. Stay for a few hours, or have a drink and run out to enjoy the evening!
