The IPPF and the National Health Council would like to encourage you to join the Campaign to Put Patients First! This is a nationwide initiative dedicated to mobilizing people with long-term diseases and disabilities to achieve effective and affordable health care – health care that meets your personal needs and goals.
With the new administration in office and Congress discussing health care reform, we need your help now! Time is quickly running out. The House and Senate have already begun writing a health reform bill. We believe that it will be the collective patient voice that will make the difference in this debate, so take this opportunity to make your concerns heard in Washington!

- Signing the National Health Council Petition for Change and inviting your friends and family members to sign
- Learning more about the health care issues and the National Health Council’s Five Principles of Health Care Reform
- Communicating your suggestions for health care reform to elected officials
- Sharing your personal health stories so elected officials will understand that health care reform must meet the needs of individual patients
The potential for meaningful reform is greater than ever and your action is urgently needed.
