WPMU DEV to the rescue!

Today, the WordPress Experts over at WPMU DEV agreed to slash prices on their enormous suite of plugins, themes, and support for the IPPF! This saves the Foundation more than just the cost of membership, but hours upon hours of time that would have been needed totweak thisormod that.

If you have seen the websites for Dow Jones, Duke University Student Affairs, shopzilla, edublogs, Cornell University, Stanford University, or hp then you’ve seen their products in use. Edublogs is the world’s largest education blogging platform (and second largest WordPress host on the web). The entire Edublog site is the brainchild of Incsub with over 1,000,000 blogsall powered by WPMU plugins.

And now the IPPF has access to these powerful tools for pennies! Ideas are in the works for a blogging community of pemphigus and pemphigoid patients and caregivers. Why have a blog out on the web where people stumble across it when you can have one surrounded by hundreds of others all creating a massive advocacy and awareness network. The IPPF also hopes to include full featured chat, integrated e-Newsletter, Q&A section, enhanced forums, and more!

If you have experience with blogging, administration of a blog or web site, or want to help our the IPPF with some IT support, please contact Will at [email protected].
