Ang IPPF ay palaging nakatulong sa pagsuporta ng mga klinikal at pang-agham na pulong. Bilang karagdagan sa pagsuporta sa American Academy of Dermatology ng (AAD) Panayam sa Autoimmune Blistering Karamdaman, the IPPF is co-sponsoring the International Pemphigus Meeting in Bern, Switzerland noong Hunyo 2009. This meeting will gather the finest minds in the world studying and researching pemphigus.
Subjects include: models in pemphigus, cell signaling, immune responses, unconventional therapies, and how stem cells might play a part. Janet Segall, Ang IPPF Direktor ng pasyente Services & Pag-aaral, will add a human face to the ramifications of these diseases among the scheduled scientific discussions.
