Molly,

On behalf of myself and the entire Peer Health Coach staff, I would like to thank you for all of your support and effort in bringing the Foundation to where it is today. Your dedication to creating a better life for those of us who have Pemphigus and Pemphigoid has been remarkable to say the least and will surely be missed.

We wish you the best going forward, we are truely grateful!

You certainly helped me! Thanks for taking time to write. Sometimes as a "veteran" patient (20+ yrs) I tend to think I know most of these tests, etc., but when I recently was requested to take this test and it came back "negative" - I immediately thought, "What if I've been misdiagnosed all these years (despite positive biopsies and textbook blisters)?" Before panicking, I searched "ELISA" on this site and found your very easy to understand article. Suddenly my "negative" result makes sense because I had just completed a 9 month course of prednisone and wasn't in a flare. Thank you SO much, Kirsten, for taking time to post and make it easy to interpret from a patient's point of view. :) - Misti MMP/CP

Hi Warrior A Sec,

I've been in touch with Ann and am following up on Dr. D'Adamo's forum.

I am aware of the GenoType diet and the SWAMI software, but it is a very shallow awareness (for those who are unfamiliar: GenoType is the next evolution in using genetic information to make food choice recommendations. SWAMI is software that helps with this profiling).

I am a Secretor (For those unfamiliar: I secrete blood type antigens in my saliva and other body fluids. It is one the genetic factors that Dr. D'Adamo uses to develop more focused dietary recommendations).

best wishes,

Steve
