Patient Education Webinars

The IPPF offers Patient Education Series Webinars featuring leading pemphigus and pemphigoid physicians and scientists. These free webinars are a friendly and casual environment to learn more about specific disease topics.

Note: Information is a key factor in treating and living with any condition. However, every patient’s situation is unique. The IPPF reminds you that any information found on the internet or during presentations should be discussed with your own doctor or healthcare team to determine if it applies to your specific situation.

Format

Patient Education Webinars follow a Town Hall format. The invited speaker may or may not present information before opening up the “floor” for questions.

Webinars are offered at no cost to attendees. Questions related to the specific webinar topic can be submitted prior to the webinar to becky@pemphigus.org. (Please note: questions will be screened for relevance.) When you connect to the conference you will be placed on MUTE. You will either hear HOLD music or one of the IPPF team talking and providing additional instructions.

Calls are not toll-free; however, you can participate using your computer’s microphone and speakers, tablet (iPad), smart phone, or standard telephone.

The IPPF uses GoToWebinar for our Patient Education Webinars. If you need assistance, email becky@pemphigus.org.
