The IPPF Scientific Symposium on Pemphigus and Pemphigoid brings together the global community advancing research and treatment for autoimmune blistering diseases — rare conditions in which the immune system attacks the skin and mucous membranes, causing painful blisters and erosions.
Before new treatment therapies can be developed, investigators need to better estimate the prevalence of pemphigus and pemphigoid, study their pathophysiology, understand treatment patterns, and assess the burden of these diseases on patients. The IPPF encourages research by hosting scientific symposia that bring together researchers, clinicians, patients, and industry partners from around the world.
Join approximately 200 attendees to discuss the pathogenesis and evolving therapeutic targets in pemphigus, pemphigoid, and other autoimmune blistering diseases. Presentations will cover the latest clinical and scientific findings, with focused discussions on targeted therapeutics and the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.
